“ The store is open 24/7 and the place quite accessible even through commute. Came in at midnight before going back to the hotel to buy something to eat. Unfortunately the options during that time were limited to what was left in stock. But nonetheless, the food was worth the price. ”

Among the dimsum choices, the best are the fried crab cakes and the quail egg siomai. Juicy, not dried out by oversteaming. The bacon-wrapped meat dumpling is umami-rich, with no trace of an old gamey pig. The mushroom siomai and regular pork siomai, however, are not as good as they used to be: still flavorful but starchy, not matching the flavor and texture of yore. The place is very clean. Dimsum, though eaten anytime during the day in Cebu, is traditionally a breakfast meal. So I am here early at the branch on General Maxilom Ave., which is open 24 hours. The floors and tables look fresh and disinfected even at sunrise. The counter where food is on display is neat, and the shrimp balls and the other dishes are freshly made. The early clientele has begun streaming in steadily, and the staff is courteous and efficient. Inexpensive meal but sulit, except for the starchy items, Dimsum Break is bang for the buck. ”
“ Very affordable. Budget friendly Chinese quick resto. Their steamed rice taste so good. Flavor profile didnt changed at all. Good thing its is also available in frozen state (pwede pang pasalubong) and has a branch inside the airport.Hope to have here in Manila again ”
